@Weathergirl5 : Really putting it in perspective, I can make a massive batch of homemade cookies for less than $10.00. Not sure of exact cost because I'm too lazy to drill down the numbers. I used to be a SAHM, and I made it my mission to work hard at being home. I cooked everything from scratch and nearly everything was purchased on sale. My total bill for a fam of 4 was around $85.00/week. Even back then, that was pretty darned good. So I can rarely bring myself to spending money on stuff like this because I know how much money I can keep in my pocket by doing DIY.

@RajunCajun : Oh I totally agree homemade anything is way cheaper than buying it premade from anywhere--grocery store, restaurant etc. These were given to me as a gift from a parent last year.

The banana cream pie is one of my favorites. I will definitely be making a trip or 2 there this week. 😂

@Catmae : I actually prefer Twisted Sugar but the closest one is in the Woodlands. I got 3 cookies and 3 drinks today for $15. They have a larger permanent selection.

New favorite tonight: Strawberry cakeIt is so yummy. The cookie part has bits of strawberry and the frosting does too with white chocolate curls.

Anybody ever tried Just Like Gnome Cookies by Chachi's? They look amazing, but I'm afraid of all the sugar. My sister loves the place.
