Twinkies actually DO go bad ....

Found an unopened box of Twinkies way back in a cabinet. Probably expired around 2014. (I think that's around the last time I looked in the back of that cabinet, because it's really high above the fridge. They are rock hard and one must have had a small hole in the cellophane, because it's not recognizable. Hostess Best Buy Codes are hard to read also. Found a thread online with a lot of code bashing.

They seem to have a short shelf life. There was a store in London that sold them but almost as soon as they were back in stock they were being heavily discounted because they were close to or beyond their expiration date.
