I thought there were cameras up. I hope they find the person that did this.

Somebody's car has to have damage. All those LP cameras and nothing? Traffic cameras?

I simply do NOT understand how you can hit either a pedestrian or another vehicle and flee.

They don't know what it was that hit her Could have been a big rig a P/U any type of vehicle. If it was a big truck at night may not have realized they hit her. If they would have stop they wouldn't be in as much trouble as they are now.
But in any case still very sad.

@West-Tex : It's sad to think someone could be gone this many days, without SOMEONE realizing they are missing. Of course, sometimes I don't communicate with my kids for this amount of time. I guess it could easily happen.

This is so sad but I often wonder why people think they can walk/run across the freeway, especially @ 11:00 p.m. @ night. Also, regardless if it were a a big vehicle or not, I would someone not see or hit & run and not know? Everyone is flying up and down the freeway and no one saw anything?

Didn't the original article say she was hit several times? The first few cars involved in the aftermath must not have been paying attention to who was on the road with them.

@Catmae :
Many times I have no contact from my children for a great length of time so if something happened to me no one would notice, I have become invisible to most of my family. My church people would notice first then maybe my neighbors. No ones life should get so busy they have no time for their family. Sadly this is how life is today.

@BJDLPD : Yes. I can completely relate. I don't consider myself "invisible" to my kids, it's just their lives are so busy. We usually try to text every other day or so, but many times, that doesn't happen.

The ones who would notice my absence first are right here on this site ..... Emoticon
