Student loans

Feds are starting to grab delinquent payments anyway they can from millions in default.
May grads- if you have to borrow to attend university, I don't care what major - go to Lone Star for, at least, the first year.

tflea : Most people I know did community college for two years, then finished off at university. This is the way.

My wife, sadly, did not BUT only a few more years of public service and POOF! Loan begone

There is also Western Governors University. It is a public on-line school that is accredited and very affordable. The only problem is there are a limited number of programs. My dh paid for his entire education. He attended cc for 2 years. Graduated and went to work for many years. He picked up his bachelors on-line. His employer piad 70%, and we paid the rest. No student loans ever.

Daaaaaave : If they honor the terms. We fought for 7 extra years and denied dozens of times. Finally received notice our processor did it on purpose BUT there would be no restitution.
