@Maxsmom : four lanes of 1960 will go over West lake Houston parkway. It will also bypass farmingham.

You can " exit" 1960 before the overpass to turn onto West lake Houston if you need to.

Will be glad when this is all over, I saw they had the strips on Atascocita road so I guess it might be next for construction.

@ladybeachbum: well I've been used to those cranes being there. Maybe that's why. I drove through there 4 times today and didn't notice until the last time

really trying to stay in the tiny lanes they've go going right now. No room for error

I know it is a much needed addition. I personally feel like it running thru the neighborhood, it's a complete eye soar, in the name of progress.
I recall a convo between former poster,s Fairlane 67 and ClydP. one made a comment about homeless sleeping under the bridge. I really hope that doesn't happen.
I'm not missing it near as much.
