Wow! So what are your plans? Early, early retirement?

I am retiring from the world of corporate finance.I'm going to focus on home and family and getting healthy and then look for local part time work with a short commute and hours that let me put my kids first. Unless I found something pretty wonderful that I can do from home I will probably look for something small and local. I'm really wanting something working with kids or a chiropractic office or gardening or walking dogs or helping people organize their closets/garages or - well I just don't know yet! I am going to wait and see what God has in store for me.

Congratulations! I retired from the corporate insurance world two weeks before my oldest was born in 2009. My commute and hours (work plus enrollment meetings/entertaining clients etc) was a killer and I knew I had to make a change. Been working from home part time for a few years, and I love it! Best decision my hubs and I ever made, even if it was hard during his layoff.
