any opinions on the pamphlet in the mail

I didn't know what this was all about, then I saw it on the news tonight. I didn't get one, now I'm ****, I want to join the conversation but I can't….its not fair….

A couple of things come to mind here. First, someone with a modicum of means paid for this crap to be made and mailed to thousands of households across Texas. Secondly, by sending it, they're basically saying the people of Texas are largely stupid. They're not going to question the validity of it. They're just going to take it at face value that it's real, become immediately outraged, and then run to the polls to vote republican as a result.Thankfully, from reporting I've read, a lot of people are put off by the effort. What that means in the end, I don't know. But it could generate a backlash that the group behind it didn't anticipate.

I so tired of phamphlets in the mail I don't even look at them anymore. They just hit the trash can what a waste of time ,money and trees.

Weird.

The mailers, sent by an organization formed last month in Wyoming, implicate a Texas transgender rights group that says it was not involved.
