Past 9:00 am up north. Schools will need to adjust.

From what I'm reading there may be pushback in the Senate. For the reasons you mention as some are concerned about children going to school in the dark. Further, most scientists say going to permanent DST is harmful to our bodies.

Personally, I think we should stay on permanent standard time as well.
