@Wanderer : He never signed it. He declared it would never become law until the SAVE Act was passed.Except it's apparent now he and his handlers forgot that any bill sent to the President, that is not signed OR Vetoed in 10 days, becomes law automatically.

@Wanderer : The institutional investment limit can help. It's really ****** to keep getting ousted with all cash bids just for it to become a rental at 2x the mortgage payment. This really harms people trying to buy for themselves and now can be buffered to some degree.Grants for local housing authorities to revise land use regulations.Better mortgage options for lower income buyers and first time buyers.Reuse incentives to convert office buildings to apartments. Office properties are sitting at very high vacancy rates. Even pre COVID.Streamlined regulation on manufactured housing to help get them to market and sold more efficiently.So yes, I see many positives for the average person in the 2-3 years implementation timeline.

I hope so to what you are saying but then again we have been deceived many times with the greatest example failure like Affordable Care which actually turned out to be detrimental to many people premiums thus not living to their name. Yes I am still haunted by this and reasons I am reluctant to support a bill like this.

As it currently sits, it's a Republican construct and a target all at once.It's been chopped up and hampered beyond recognition by conservative congresses since passage. So if it was great then why change it? Of course politicians will react if people are complaining about high surprised premiums as a result of that law. I am not saying it is better but why pass something which harms the common person in the beginning.

Back when it went into effect, it was indeed shown that some private plans increased. But also showed there were now comparable cheaper options.The recent changes from Republicans have generated the highest premium rises yet.@Wanderer : it really didn't. Millions could now afford something and could go to the doctor. Coverage was available to pre-existing conditions, much no fault of their own.And simply being a woman was now no longer allowed to be detrimental to your premium.And it created options. If yours did increase, there was an overwhelming chance there were other options.Do you just accept your home insurance rate hike? No

As explained above, Obamacare (ACA) wasn't given a chance to work as intended from the outset. Republican states sued in order to kneecap the law. My suspicion is they did it simply because Obama got it through Congress. Secondly, the monied interest in our healthcare system didn't want it to fully succeed either because it would cost them profits.In this country, if you follow the money, in most cases it will lead you to your answer.

Why would they say those words? There has to be a reason. Why attack a so called good law unless there is something wrong with it. I am using ACA because the fiasco could be why people are hesitant to support this current bill.
