I grew up fishing, mostly fresh-water....But it's been years(a couple decades actually) since I've wet a bait....Waters around here(all the streams and rivers from Dallas on down) are too polluted to keep fish and many decent local fishing areas for "catch and release" are infested with shady folks....I think if I wanted to have a "real" freshwater fishing experience again, I'd have to drive at least into middle Louisiana....

Dam we are in the middle of Archery training and practices for upcoming tournaments in Mid July and August but we do plan a trip real soon.

@ginx : Headed to Montana in the morning, we're staying in a house on the Madison river. Supposed to be full of brown and rainbow trout.
