That right there is the thing that puzzles me about some voters. They get embroiled in culture war crap that at the end of the day, isn't going to help them put food on the table, a roof over their heads, nor clothes on their backs. Given the last few years of domestic and foreign policy decisions being made in our name, the number of genders wouldn't be one of our top concerns.

Yes. It's a damn shame that those tactics have proven to be successful in our body politic. It should have never happened. Now, nearly every office seeker feels compelled to follow along the same path. It's a genie out of the bottle sort of thing.If you have Netflix, watch FDR. In my opinion, it is a great documentary. But it's also sad in that our society has strayed a million miles away from statesmen like him.

@rocket1 : I agree, and unfortunately this move speaks to the character of our candidates. These days, both sides have less and less positive attributes of their own to run on, yet they have more and more negative for the opposition to hold against them.
