I am not surprised at all. Since they left the music aspect and decided to do these reality type shows.

@salth2o : You'll still be able to, even though it's been canceled I'm sure it will still be on all day long.
 
I thought I posted this earlier, but I guess not. It's not MTV itself that's going away, it's all it's spin off music channels.

@MrsT : I'm so far removed from MTV, I can't even fully enjoy the VMAs.

And how ironic that "video" never was able to do that.....They actually "enhanced" most of the songs IMO....I will admit that there are some videos that are absolutely stupid and don't match the song story at all, but most add a little "creativity".....I collect them and from time to time I'll have a "music video watching" evening, sometimes reminiscing about "the good ole days"....
