Wow!! That is some feat. I can't do 24 hours awake anymore……

It's 2.5 times the size of Texas... but only about 15% reachable by road... about 6,300 miles of paved roads. I think I've been on every paved road at least twice...

Smokeybear: The IBA prefers not to publish actual completion times because they don't want to encourage riders to race each other or prioritize speed over safety.My total time was 19.5 hours. I left at 4:30 a.m. and got home right at midnight, including about 1.5 hours spent waiting for pilot cars at 6 construction zones along the route.And here I thought I'd be home by 10 p.m.! 😂The hardest part was the last 45 minutes. It was getting dark-by Alaskan Summer standards-and it was windy and raining. My riding partner wanted to stop and put on rain gear, while all I could think about was reaching that last gas station, getting my final timestamped receipt, and heading home. That's when fatigue really hit hard… and my *** started reminding me how long I've been going! 😂

hmmm... probably riding down to Panama, but researching if I could then "import" my bike, as the plan is to have one bike down there permanently. I need to make sure that riding the bike receives the same treatment as if I ship it. If I ride it, it does not go thru customs... if I ship it, it does...
