Labor Day menu

Brats and sauerkraut, it doesn't get much better than that....

@Weathergirl5: Happy Labor Day to all! Enjoy the day off for those who have it. If you're retired, try not to look too happy! LOL! Looking forward to a dip in the pool late this afternoon. And probably a trip to HEB for a few usual essentials. As far as menu, we are still munching on leftover steak, grilled chicken, etc. that we cooked for our big cookout Saturday. It's great to not have to heat up the kitchen on hot days!

Good Morning All I was going to smoke a steak for diner and then smoke some sausage ,hamburgers and hot dogs for later. But late yesterday my friend invite over to their house. So Maybe tomorrow . Please have a safe and blessed Labor Day,

Made homemade chicken dumplings yesterday I would love barbecue today but nobody around me wants to grill bc of heat

We're having roast leg of lamb, baked potatoes and broccoli crowns.

We just had quesadillas with homemade roasted salsa, homemade Chuy's jalapeño ranch (holler if you want the recipe) and sour cream. My avocados were bad (🤬 ). Easy peasy!

@lynnsgirl : Toss it all in a blender and hit the "on" button! (I don't use tomatillos...Makes it sour, imo)It's exactly the same as Chuy's! (test the jalapeños for heat - I use a small can of hot...don't use fresh jalapeños. Has to be pickled with the juice added!)Enjoy!
