@Joe : All of these years, you never warned me about Vietnamese coffee.

@Catmae : It isn't, but adding different sauces, it can be. The dressing it comes with is a clear fish sauce/sweet/ginger sauce. The chili oil add-on is brutal! 😃The beef eggrolls are BOMB!!(Don't knock fish sauce if you haven't tried it. It's probably isn't what you think.)

Always curious about that place. That dish will get me in the door…

@brightlights : Back when I could eat it, we couldn't keep enough of it in the house. (DH, DD and I LOVED it.) DD still eats a ton of it, but I can't tolerate well anymore, though I find myself craving the flavor a lot. Especially when I see how it's listed in a dish's ingredients (like you did). Occasionally, DH would go shopping over off Veterans Memorial at a Vietnamese market and would cook it at home. Fish sauce was a big part of a lot of those dishes.So what's the deal with the coffee?

@Catmae : The coffee is really strong! DDs and I used to make our own chili crisp (chili oil). Super easy! Maybe you could find a mild chili flake, like sweet chili, Anaheim, poblano, etc.

So no one else had dinner? 😂
