Weekend Plans?

Going to the hill country to visit the boy for his birthday. I never get to stay home...

Nothing….first weekend with nothing planned in over a month..

Going shopping for fall stuff with my daughter then Sunday going to my brother's bday party

I am prepping items for 2 upcoming kid sales, prepping things for school, and spending time with my son.

@Floyd: where in the Hill Country. I'm at my Canyon Lake place now.

I'm going to attempt a SaddleSore 1000, from the Iron Butt Association. I'll start at 4:30AM Saturday morning and I hope to make it back by 10PM

@West-Tex : Thanks for asking…Physically, he looks better and a lot of the bruising has started to heal, but he still hasn't woken up. Today was a really hard day for the family. The doctors said that, after nine days, they had hoped to see more progress by now, including him regaining consciousness. They gently told the family that they may need to start thinking about how long they keep hoping and waiting if things don't begin to change soon.We're all still praying for a miracle and hoping he'll prove everyone wrong.

@sandman: So sorry to hear about your friend not waking up yet. Continuing to send healing energy and prayers up for him.

Sadly the family made the decision to let him go… doctors said he would never wake up with the injury to the brain he sustained. I'm heartbroken

It was a tough ride, but I completed 1,038 miles in 20 hours and 38 minutes. Could have done it in less time, but it is road repair season and we hit a few spots with pilot cars that slowed us down a few hours. So I am now a member of the Iron Butt Association, the world's toughest riders. @sandman :
