When is the last time that you bought a book on Amazon?
I was thinking the other day how I almost never buy books on Amazon. This is kind of amusing since they started off only selling books. I bought a book for my tablet before we went on our cruise. That was the first time in probably years that I bought a book. And I haven't bought any books since. Will probably be another few years before I buy another one!

I used to around Christmas time. I almost always give someone a book. I usually buy from
ThriftBooks.com now though. You can usually choose between buying new or used and can get better prices. And you can earn free books.

Last year I bought older DS a book for Christmas that was a reprint of the cocktail recipe manual from the famous and elegant Savoy Hotel on the Strand in London. He has stayed there several times and was very impressed so the book was a hit!

A few months ago a coworker lost her husband and I bought her some poetry books by an author who writes about grief. I rarely buy actual books anymore…usually use Kindle Unlimited or the Libby app.
