@Tuckersmom, I agree, I'd like another one on WLHP too! I'm slightly addicted to some of their drinks...anything to make getting one easier is fine with me!
The comedian Lewis Black does a hilarious bit about the end of the universe being found in Houston. On the corner of West Gray and Shepherd in the River Oaks shopping center their are two Starbucks directly across from one another in the center. Literally directly across the two lane street that runs thru the shopping area.
What happened is that the original one was in the strip center and didn't have a drive through, so when the center was renovated and a building was demolished, the owner built a replacement across the street. What he didn't count on was that he ended up having enough business to keep both open, so he did, lol!
We used to live in town and if we were meeting someone at a Starbucks in this area you had to be sure to specify the old Starbucks or the new Starbucks! Haha!
