Not sure if anyone else has noticed these 2 but there's a white male and female who have been walking our Pinehurst neighborhood streets lately and I would think they are up to no good. We've seen them walking down the streets at odd hours either early morning or late afternoons. We first gave them the benefit of the doubt they might live here but have now noticed them walking shopping center parking lots too. Once I saw them in McD's pouring out their change to purchase food, I knew they must be homeless. This AM we saw them coming into the neighborhood each with a Target Shopping Cart - guess they were ready to go shopping. We called the Constables so hopefully they were able to get them out of our community. So, if you see a tall white short light brown hair male with a short medium length dark brown hair female walking around, please take notice and call the Constables if you feel they are up to no good.

Does the male have a lot of tattoos?

My husband was approached by a young couple while washing his truck at mr. Carwash. They asked him for a ride into humble. I was just wondering if it might be the same couple as now we see them up and down 1960 all the time.

Ahh...Good to know!!! And Yes, I believe he does have tattoos....I have a funny feeling this must be the couple because they are always walking down 12th Fairway towards that way or behind the houses of the elementary school....

Hmmm.. well if it's the same couple he said they seemed harmless and the guy was cautious in his approach as my hubs doesn't look like an approachable guy!

He ended up giving them a ride in the bed of his truck bc he felt bad and seemed they were down on their luck. About an hour later we saw them walking half way back to atascocita. We've also seen them at that trailer park on 1960.

Good call keeping an eye out.. you can never be sure what ppl are up to!

I totally agree! I just don't want to see our neighborhood become a free homeless campsite for them....They always walk really slow and close to the cars who are parked on our streets....I've seen them stop in front of a neighbor's home who had their garage open....I made it a point to go outside when I saw them and they continued to walk along their marry way.....I'm happy there are others who have noticed them and want to keep our streets clean.....Thanks!!!

I go to the Atascocita Library a couple times a week and EVERY time I have been there I see a couple at the computer table that is off to the side. I have sat at a computer by them and they appear to be homeless. I heard them talking about apartments and what you have to have to get one, talking about where to get assistance, and at one point he mentioned his parents and the phone number he said outloud was a Kingwood phone number. I have found it odd that they usually have food and drink with them which I am surprised the library allows. I can't guarantee it is the same couple but if you are interested in getting them help you could start by asking the library employees and they may have some knowledge of the situation.

Family Promise provides help for the homeless through local churches. I think there is a screening process.

Yes, I volunteer for family promise at our church. It's a
wonderful program and I've met some really great families!

I have seen them walking through Pinehurst, sitting at Kroger in the sushi area and I have seen her at the library. She behaves as if she may have a developmental disability. He appears to be nurturing and protective of her. They were walking through the neighborhood one day and she was clutching a stuffed animal as if her life depended on it, like a toddler would do.

Can someone post info on the Family Promise program, or similar program, at a local church? I see these people often and will give the information to them.

Don't know how to post links but it's fplh.org. I believe they specialize in families with children, however they may still be able to help.

Family Time in Humble could likely refer them to a helpful agency:

familytimeccc.org/

Family Promise:

fplh.org/

HAAM might be able to help in some way:

haamministries.org/

She does have the stuffed animal sitting out when at the Library. I have noticed that too. They do not appear harmful in any way and it would be nice to see them get some assistance. I hope they get the help they need. Can the organization mentioned above approach them and offer assistance?

@Humbletexan1:

I don't know for certain, but I doubt the organizations I mentioned are set up to approach anyone. I think the Harris County Sheriff's Office has a unit trained to handle situations involving mental illness but that may just be in crises - I am not sure. I am wondering if our contract constables have spoken with the couple.

I would also encourage, if, the next time you see them giving them information so perhaps they can get help if they really just down on their luck. I understand why you'd want them out of the neighborhood, but that would also be a good move, too.

@nikkiole:

I never said I wanted them out of the neighborhood! Let's get that straight. I don't see them posing a problem to anyone.
