>> I have seen them walking through Pinehurst, sitting at Kroger in the sushi area and I have seen her at the library. She behaves as if she may have a developmental disability. He appears to be nurturing and protective of her. They were walking through the neighborhood one day and she was clutching a stuffed animal as if her life depended on it, like a toddler would do.
Can someone post info on the Family Promise program, or similar program, at a local church? I see these people often and will give the information to them.
@Sammee:
She does have the stuffed animal sitting out when at the Library. I have noticed that too. They do not appear harmful in any way and it would be nice to see them get some assistance. I hope they get the help they need. Can the organization mentioned above approach them and offer assistance?
@Humbletexan1:
I don't know for certain, but I doubt the organizations I mentioned are set up to approach anyone. I think the Harris County Sheriff's Office has a unit trained to handle situations involving mental illness but that may just be in crises - I am not sure. I am wondering if our contract constables have spoken with the couple.
