@Sammee About 25 or 30 yrs ago when the 1st Kroger was in Humble I began to notice a man in the store was following me . I asked the checker to get the manager to walk me to my car . I drove home & when I turned off 1960 the car behind me also turned so I just took the 1st street to the right . Every turn I made he did also ,I just kept driving all over our subdivision . This went on for what felt like forever & he began to understand I WAS NOT GOING TO GO HOME . I thought about driving back to humble straight to the police station & didn't because I was afraid he would force my car into the ditch . At some point he turned opposite of me & left . I waited till he was far enough away to not catch up with me before I could get my car in the garage.
So in this case I was not being paranoid & thank God I noticed him in the grocery store . So even though I didn't see him in the parking lot when the manager put my groceries in the car he saw my car he was watching & he managed to catch up with me
as I traveled down 1960 . So never worry about being paranoid & trust your feelings . Had I not noticed him inside the store he could have followed me home & seen where I lived & God only knows what might have happened .
