Well, my first marriage was a bust, but as for my second (and LAST) I would not change one single thing, it was amazing. We chose to get married by a Native American Shaman in Sedona Arizona. It was May 5, 2007, the weather was perfect and the whole ceremony and reception were amazing.

>> If I could could go back in time I would avoid marrying my first ex wife and jump to my second wife and have her be my first. I regret my first marriage everyday and am glad it is a distant memory.

You know, sometimes I think that too, but had I never married my turd of an ex-husband, I probably would not have left San Francisco, meaning I would have never ended up working in D.C. and living in Northern Virginia, which is where I ended up meeting my 2nd husband, so I think everything ends up working out for a reason.

So true it seems there is a path we are destined for based on our decisions. Mistakes always leads to corrections in life. Thanks Littlegoo

Thanks! We originally were planning on getting married on the beach in the Outer Banks, but since we have family in Arizona, it made more sense to get married there, and I couldn't have wished for a better wedding. We've been back a couple of times since we got married, but can't wait til the kids are older and we can take them there. Maybe on our 10th anniversary we can go back and re-new our vows with our kids as witnesses.

I would probabaly redo pretty much everything about it. Emoticon

Justice of the peace
Pouring rain
No rings
Grouchy mom and mom-in-law were bickering and were our only attendees
Dirt poor and broke, no honeymoon
Fast food lunch afterwards

I'd also change the weather. It was freakin' cold and windy, snowed and rained all day long, it was muddy, I got my dress dirty and had to wash the bottom part of the skirts between the ceremony and reception.
