It is a little late for trying to stop this Board from spending & having a committee to over see spending & have a Board member with skills in financial management REALLY !!!!!! Where have you folks been for the last 3 yrs ???? Please look at all the money spent ! . So much spent they had to go get money out of water Board 132 because it just must have been an emergency to spend some more of our money .And guess what ALL 5 VOTE THE SAME !!! So why would the majority in our subdivision want the golf course people on the committee to curtail spending or on the Board because 3 have control of the Board now ( DID THEY STOP ALL THIS SPENDING ) ????? There is only the tennis court in Shores 1 to be redone & all the new crap Laura wants done what ever is still left . If I were going to spend money I would do what I could to get land to expand our marina & not worry about a pavilion at the shores 1 park, that all the apartment people use . Yes we had stuff that needed fixing or replaced but we do not have to do it all at one time . The one thing the majority of ACIA wants is to not increase our dues & the board voted to not increase in 2015 so that is a good thing .

She already stuck some on Lake Houston Pkwy & wait till you see how close they are planted . They will be fighting for water & food & growing into each other . If we are lucky she'll stack a bunch of mulch around them & kill them before they can get big .. What they will do is lift the concrete just like the trees on the Point when you look at the median there you can see it is lifting the concrete . Now why do I know that & no one else does ? All she has done is leave us with a promise of future problems & spending more money to cut trees down . And how much did it cost us to plant all those FREE TREES ?

BBK They are required to tell us the cost, but getting that kind of information is like pulling teeth- a very painful process.They could just say we got 3 estimates for tree planting and we chose this one and it costs xxx.Hey what happened to our new TOP SECRET CONTRACT COMMITTEE?Silly me that information must be a SECRET.

Trees planted to close?Well who is responsible for that?I wish they had asked me, I could have gone online and found out planting depth, spacing, sun/shade information etc..This information is readily available and free but hey doing this would have been reasonable and did I say free.Don't worry BBK we can just pay more money to move them and you will never know so it won't upset you.

Oh BBK we forgot about our irrigation contractor, I am sure he is counting on these tree that may have roots to cause leaks in our irrigation system- He loves tree roots they keep him in leaks for life right Laura?

Laura CLAIMS we have saved thousands in our water bill- Produce the bills.Also please tell the members about the TENS OF THOUSANDS we have paid to contractors.What are we up to now in repairs 80,000 this year for a system pronounced leak free in JAN?Laura should be able to account for all spending.

I think you know if they move 3inches I will know , and ask my hubby if you don't know .He will tell you I walk into a room & never stop talking but go over & move something maybe an inch & not even realize that I detected something was moved . But I think that is a woman thing & I think lots of women do that .

Poster guy you keep on posting all of this stuff but you have no answer only complaints. Who are we to vote for?? Posting Meeting Agendas would be helpful if you really want an informed membership. That would be a solution to a complaint about not doing so.So that's 3 solutions that I have offered, do you have any to offer Timbom- now is the time.

Oh this is just to funny you should say that Posterguy . Jan 2014 agenda posted Sept 23, 2014 so 9 mos after the meeting they posted it .They also posted Feb ,March, April , on 9/23/2014 so we have 9 mos 8mos 7 mos & 6 mos late for getting posted . ( NO MAY AGENDA AT ALL POSTED ) So looks like there was no month of May in the year 2014 ?????????????? June was put up 3 days before the meeting July 2014 was put up the day of the meeting Aug 2014 was 1 month late being put up Sept was put up the day of the meeting . Well here we are Sensible Solution Committee this is ONE OF YOUR PEOPLE YOU ALL WERE PUSHING IS THAT CORRECT ????? Yes I think I have an email sent to me that EM sent out pushing to get SR on the Board & our website states & I quote Website is managed by --------------has her name Suggestions can be emailed to -----------------has her email address . So it certainly appears she enters all this stuff on to our website or she may over see that someone else gets it put up on our site . Now I believe it was June 2014 SR put all the names & addresses of all the people that were delinquent owing money to our HOA. Of course JW said it was an accident so lets move on . Sure thing NO BIG DEAL LETS JUST MOVE ON . So how are all these golf course people doing running our subdivision ?????? HAVE OUR PROPERTY VALUES GONE THROUGH THE ROOF YET ????? Maybe RH could call SR & let her know we are 5 days away from the next meeting which would be Oct 27 Monday & last month's meeting is still posted on our site .. New people might like a little notice & if the agenda isn't quite ready that doesn't mean you have to wait till both are ready . Unless we are not having a meeting in Oct ? That would be a first , but we have seen many first with this Board .
