@redneckroyI just caught up with this thread and I'm confused with the logic in your OP.Cabinet level confirmations are the purview of the Senate, not Congress as a whole. As such, the Senate by virtue of Democrat control could confirm this dude at anytime due to the rule change by Sen Reid....No more cloture, just a simple majority vote on any appointment other than SCOTUS nominees.....The Democrats have everything they need to move this forward. What is stopping them other than the gonads to apply the rules they set forth? I agree that McCain's Czar thing is dumb as dirt, but calling Rep's hypocritical on the issue is bizarre. The better question would be what are the Senate Dem's waiting for?And as I finish typing this, the Giants just hit a Series ending HR......sorry dude. Go Royals in the WS.
