Freshman coach at AHS is always on the field a few years. Either head coach if on offense or defensive coach. Did the same at AMS Not intrusively. Or innoxious and only a few yards.

@macdaddy: I have also been on the board volunteering hundreds of hours for youth sports over the past 25 years and know how things should be done IF the kids are kept as the focus. Sadly, that is not always the case. The coach in question here is being paid (granted maybe not enough) to coach these boys correctly. I don't have a kid on his team but that doesn't matter. I've watched some of those boys play since they were 6-7 years old. They deserve to have a coach doing his dang job correctly - not acting the fool.

Have had to deal with bad coaches
And plenty of " youth sports parents "Se people think their kid is playing in the Super Bowl when in reality about 5 mins after the game the kid is thinking about video games, food,
Sleep, or nothing......

@macdaddy: Parents care about the crap much more than the kids. You hit the nail on the head with that one.
