Well, drug culture - gansta lifestyle. Lawbreakers tend to run together, and once you start violating the law and getting away with it, the chain is activated.

Idiot scum of the earth.

@lana7018:
Wow. So he deserved to get shot and killed because he ran with a bad crowd? That is someone's son and father. Show some respect.

And on another note, no one here even knows if he was involved in the drug or "gangster" lifestyle. Quit speculating. What you said was harsh, uninformed, and sickening.

No he didn't deserve to be killed, nor did I say he did. He did however SELFISHLY put himself in a bad situation by being with a group of people who were doing drugs. You have a child to take care of - you don't put yourself in those kind of situations.

The "idiot scum of the earth" was directed at the shooters, not the person who was shot.

You don't have a clue on how "informed" I am. I am not speculating, I do my research. Perhaps you should to the same and quit assuming what other people mean.

Clear now?

What "research" have you done? Investigating other community message boards and Facebook? My point is you weren't there, you don't know what the young man was doing at the house. He could have been there to tell his other friends to stop using drugs for all we know. You have no right to pass judgment on whether or not he was behaving selfishly, but that thanks for reinstating my point. What you said was disrespectful and mean any way you slice it. How would you feel if someone had posted that about one of your dead loved ones, regardless of if they were doing drugs or not.

He was most likely over there witnessing to them. Right?

Maybe I know an officer - maybe not. I'll say again that you have no idea what or who I know.

I will stand by every word I posted. You can stick your head back in the sand.

Moving on.

Drugs or no drugs. I thought it was sad. A 23 yr old young man, a son, father, friend and possibly a brother, uncle, nephew or many other things lost his life. A lot of us don't do drugs but have been touched by them at some point. Be that a relatives, friends or co workers. Someone with a drug problem is not automatically a bad person. Remember alcohol and nicotine are drugs too.
We as a community should say a prayer for this family, this little girl, and most of all use it as a teaching moment with our own children. Blessed be to all and please have a safe weekend.

Glad they made the arrest! He deserves to rot in jail. We have (had) a drug house on our street. An Atascocita Dentist bought the home for his daughter and she and her thug friends destroyed the house and the family neighborhood way of life for the rest of us. All that while she had three young children in the home to witness and suffer through the mayhem. The Sheriff's Dept. took care of all of that a couple of months ago with a Texas-sized raid. We recently saw the criminals moving things out of the house so hopefully it is the end. I might add it was the second raid by the Sheriff's Dept. Amazing how one drug house can effect everyone on the street. We all had to get security systems and camera systems. Trust me, at this point, nothing happens on this street that is not on tape. Good ridance! Now the decent people can carry on!
