I must say I was cut off of the world deep in the Ozarks and quite frankly, I wanna go back. Lol
I missed a lot of the news coverage and thankfully I don't have cable and I drowned out the world with music.
That being said I am an older woman and am sick of the news of doom everywhere. I also remember the black out in New York and how Harlem was burned and looted. And then how they cried our hood is crappy. I remember the Watts riots and how they burned and looted. And then they cried our hood is crappy.
I suggest we rein in your hoodsmen/women and children,say enough of all this crap.
this has gotten do out of control and it is solving nothing.
In fact I am sick of all the racial divide, ya think after living over 50 yrs. We'd be long past it. After all we all bleed red and die one day, why the hell not make it easier.
I will say enough killing by everyone is in order. Right here at home, in our own communities.

Anyone who thinks that any of this (riots and lawbreaking) is right or justified...is simply prejudiced in there intellect. This is a mockery of what a civil society is meant to be. However, no law has ever been passed that will keep a man from acting a fool.

@daisy girl: might be nice to go back to the 30 minutes CBS news and not this 24 hour detail analysis. I wonder if Ferguson would have made the cut to be included in the 30 minutes.

Turned off CNN and Lemon as well as the other media-wan-a-bees. CNN firmly held the bad-white-cop line and their reporting counters the same nonsense that our FAIR & ACCURATE friends at FOX perpetuate of the big-bad-black-kid. The investigation is ongoing and this miserable excuse for media is judge and jury. The market is prime for someone who reports the facts: WHO, WHAT, WHEN and WHERE. Shove that scripted political agenda of the WHY"S where the sun doesn't shine!

@tb505: It might have gotten 30 seconds once. Bad things happen every day everywhere and it never gets reported. Hell I learn more news checking the local boards than I do from the media. And most times more accurate. Yes I would like the old school journalism of who what where and when. Why is a crooked letter. I've always said even the person smiling at you may be thinking of a way to screw you. We can not control anyone's thoughts on why. As an instructor in a criminal justice class once said, you don't get it because you don't think like a criminal.
As for this whole mess the why is because everyone is doing it. They have lost perspective on why the protest. Violence creates violence. And that is creating a host of other problems and many more questions.
the media loves this and the ones I truly feel for are the very people who are trying to get to work, the kids being prisoners in their homes, shop owners who have given their all to provide for the very one's disrespecting them right now. I would not want to be stuck trying to live there. I sure as hell would be pulling up my welcome mat and moving my business. Enough is enough.
And yes anyone who thinks this is ok on all fronts sides and backs, are not right themselves.
No wonder I am thinking really hard about heading deeper into the mountains.
