Curfew? What's that? Momma always said YOLO... so, as long as I was home before sunrise, and brought home fresh bread and brew the coffee before she woke up, there would be no trouble...

I had a curfew of 12 when i was 20 even at 22 i had a curfew of like 1 when i still lived at my parents.....i had younger siblings so they didnt want me coming in super late waking everyone up...im 25 now and living in my own place so i make my own curfew now. AND i believe there is a curfew in effect that starts at a certain time for under 18 by the city......

Funny thing when I was growing up I thought my parents were just soooo mean & awful ! I swore I'd never treat my children like I was treated . Only rights I had growing up was the right to stay under my parents roof as long as I obeyed them & if I didn't they would have put me out It was awful !!!!! I had to not only keep my bed made & room clean But I had to share in helping with the entire house & while mom cooked dinner for a family of 8 I had to see to it that the little ones got their bath & help with homework . I had to clean the kit after dinner . When old enough to date I had to double date the 1st 2 yrs I think it was ,be in for 10:30 & then 11:00 because nothing good was happening after 11 only trouble was out there .I didn't have a( single )date till my husband & I were engaged .What awful parents & I had to go to church & be a part of all functions there .Then the most unthinkable thing happened !!!!!! Yep I got married had children & ( I BECAME that AWFUL PARENT ) yes the one with all those same rules . I am very grateful my parents loved all of so much & taught us how to be a parent & not a friend . Our children never think anything bad will happen to them as they have no life experience & have not seen all the news articles we have seen .

Let me simply this:It is what ever time I tell them to be home and not a minute later.Growing up my mom grounded my butt one month for each minute I was late. Bet your ****...I wasn't late. That Italian meant business.

She got the results out of you she needed to get, I'm so sure you were like me & just felt all this was just unjust !!!! Then we grow up & so very much want to protect our kids & begin to understand how respect & living by rules are needed to protect them from their selves & from others .God bless Mom's & Dad's
