Lack of efficiency and Lack of incentive - strongly influenced by conflict of interest.
Government run ANYTHING has ZERO appropriate incentive to do a good job.
CRAZY low number of government employees getting fired from any position - EVER!
Why is that? There is tons of incompetence. Tons of poor performance.
Not motivated to make a profit results in who cares - spend more/raise more taxes.
Problem is at least partially because of attitude of "it matters not what I do." "I won't be fired"
OUR employees (they works for us the tax payers) are not worried about the salary continuation program.
They are not concerned - "if I don't do my job well I might not have a job."
Yet there are some out there - that want bigger and ever growing government machine.
PAID FOR BY OTHERS.
THAT IS THE PROBLEM!
