>> Why would an ex still have your picture as his background. I have my ex's picture too but it's on a stake in my garden to keep the birds away! The other picture is in my garage and I throw darts at it.

I spit my coffee out on that one.

Crime in Atascocita is "not a problem" UNTIL it affects YOU! She said "they said they didn't really care cause there is SO much crime going on". Not sure which law enforcement agency said this, but generally law enforcement in this area is WAY under-staffed and basically, they just run from call to call! They cannot focus on "crime prevention" because they do not have time!!! The "Nay-sayers" that are against adding more officers to the Atascocita contract have been lucky so far and crime hasn't affected them "yet". Eventually, they will be victims and then they will scream for more protection! We need to get in front of this and protect our community! YES... it will cost money, but I for one would sleep better at night knowing that we have the protection needed to keep us safe!

you know what they say... when seconds count, the police are minutes away

I have a few friends that are or were police officers... they all say the same thing... learn how to protect yourself and your loved ones, be prepared, routinely check your house and make sure lights, door/gate/window locks are working, use common sense, avoid the dark alleys, etc.

@Sunshinegirl

Social media and pictures in general can be difficult to navigate in break ups/divorce situations. Both people have to decide what to keep up or take down, how public to make things, whether to stay "Friends" or not, whether to comment on each other's stuff or not. My ex is on here and I think we do fairly well keeping things friendly.

I was going through my desk at work and found a nice framed print of my my son when he was little and my ex. I plan to put it on a shelf in my son's room so he can see his Daddy when he's at my house.

Very true. I've lost great pictures and visual memories that simply had to be deleted/destroyed completely.
