Thanks for correcting the turtle dates for me.

No problem. Some good thoughts you put out there. Just gotta dig deep on this one, cuz it's complicated. Well, the final result isn't hard to figure out. Mr. Bundy will be a retired rancher in due time.

All great info - thanks for the background. Maybe my thoughts on it were over simplistic.

Regardless of the history - the facts can be broken down rather basic. Enforcement should be as well;

Although Clyde pointed out that the ballet box wasn't necessarily a remedy; I won't 100% agree with that - but that's fine - He has plenty of representatives to lobby or draft legislation in his support or pressure the BLM to back off. Seems he has lost all efforts;

Shouldn't have run his mouth so much - he almost had a winning strategy in the works with Fox & Friends lobbying in his favor.

This has been an educational read for me. I’ll be the first to admit I’m probably not the smartest tool in the shed. I am left with one critical thought regarding the vast amount of land owned by our Government, is the land better protected in their hands or the hands of private land owners? It’s the current state of our debt that continues to haunt me. Sorry, might be a little off topic here, or maybe not. What the man said has little impact on my thoughts.

Rep. Steven Horsford, D-Nev., says his constituents are being subjected to a militia-like presence at the hands of Bundy's supporters. In an email to Clark County Sheriff Doug Gillespie, Horsford said his constituents told him that Bundy's armed supporters have set up checkpoints where they force residents to prove they live in an area before allowing them to proceed. They are a "persistent presence" along federal highways, state, and county roads, making people feel unsafe, Horsford wrote, according to CBS affiliate KLAS-TV in Las Vegas.
