It's sad...people have good intentions, but there are enough bad and creepy people who ruin it. Growing up, if my neighbors had given us baked goods, we all knew them and knew it would be safe. That is not the case anymore. Luckilly, we know all of the people in our cul de sac, but I know it's not like that everywhere.

That reminds me. One year the kids were given baked brownies in tin foil.

In sealed bags?

My kids got little open bags of popcorn one year...we threw it out (didn't know the homeowners). No telling who or what handled it while putting it into the bags.

No.....we have a huge popcorn machine so it's popped fresh right there in the driveway. Everyone loves it. We're known as the popcorn house.

I bet this lady's yard is full of dog crap all year round. It's always a choice to not participate. She could make a donation to diabetes or something. Sheesh, what a nutburger.
