change one thing from your wedding day, what would it be?

Me.....I would have enjoyed and relaxed a little more and not worry so much about things going so perfect.

Would not have have umpired three games that day.....I looked a well done lobster in the pictures. My bad.

Wife wasn't happy, I think she's over it now, but when we look at the photos 1979 seems like yesterday from the comments I still get.

I want to go on record that I totally out kicked my coverage......my wife seriously under married.

We ran off and got married. The day we got our license the Drs told my mom no way to flying. Her brain cancer was too risky. So I called the judge at the court house and canceled the house wedding. He had a slot at 4pm.
So I ran to the school Snagged my niece, ran to the grocer and bought a few roses.( had to show the girl how to make my bouquet. Yep I made it in 4 minutes flat) and ran to the courthouse. I took a pic of my 8 yr old niece and the groom. Only picture we have lol. She turned out to be my everything and the judge made her sign as a witness, (in cursive in the middle she signed lol) in the meantime my sis called and said can ya pick me up? Lol she was mad I made her wait almost 2 hours due to a court case. When she found out I took her daughter and ran off to get married she burst out lol.
14 yrs now. 18 together. We've talked redoing our vows.

So I would say our Jimmy Buffet T- Shirts and jeans Would be changed and pictures.

If I could could go back in time I would avoid marrying my first ex wife and jump to my second wife and have her be my first. I regret my first marriage everyday and am glad it is a distant memory.

Having it local where we lived instead of at home so that a family member didn't (accidentally???) give my (soon to be) husband the wrong directions so that he crosses into another state instead of heading to the chapel. Emoticon

Hmm... either 1) Not let my brothers-in-law get me so drunk the night before, or 2) Punched the DJ in the face and then fired him. He was awful. Probably the second one.

Well, my first marriage was a bust, but as for my second (and LAST) I would not change one single thing, it was amazing. We chose to get married by a Native American Shaman in Sedona Arizona. It was May 5, 2007, the weather was perfect and the whole ceremony and reception were amazing.

@cbp210:

You know, sometimes I think that too, but had I never married my turd of an ex-husband, I probably would not have left San Francisco, meaning I would have never ended up working in D.C. and living in Northern Virginia, which is where I ended up meeting my 2nd husband, so I think everything ends up working out for a reason.
