As part of our ongoing "Getting to Know Your Local Businesses" series, this week we sat down with Suree Reynolds, MS, APRN, BC, FNP, of Angel Care Family Clinic.

Tell us a bit about your business: What does your business offer, and how long have you been around?
We are a family clinic offering treatment of acute illness and chronic conditions. i.e. colds, flu, fever, high blood pressure, diabetes, ear infections, throat infections, bronchiolitis, etc. The clinic was opened in April 2017; however, I have worked in the medical field since 1987.

How did you decide to get involved in this line of work? How did the business get started?
I have always had a passion for helping people and have dreamed of being a nurse since I was 8 years old. I graduated as a registered nurse in 1987. I returned to school in 2013 to obtain my master’s degree to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Tell us a couple things you are proud of about your business. What are you known for? What separates you from the competition?
At Angel Care Family Clinic, our wait time is very minimal, our $50.00 office visits are the lowest in the area. We offer inhouse blood draws for fast convenient lab results.

What is your favorite part of running this business?
Love seeing patients get well and returning to enjoying life.

Who is your ideal customer/client? Who do you serve best?
All patients start from 18 months up, well woman exam, weight loss program, STD screening and treatment, etc.

Can you tell us something about yourself as the business owner? What is your background?
I have 30 years of experiences including ICU, ER, OR, Home health, Med-Surgical, PPU, Nursery, NICU, Pedi.

Are there any special promotions, annual sales, or special events that you'd like to mention?

How do you see your business growing and improving over the next couple of years?
Angel Care Family Clinic is looking forward to growth while introducing healthcare to the community that everyone can afford. We want patients to not only see our practitioner when sick; but also begin to think of us for preventative medicine as well.
