Yesterday had an eery calm

@ginx: No. I didn't get out yesterday as we were preparing to have a big bunch of friends and neighbors over for a cookout. I did go to HEB Friday and it was pretty busy. So maybe everybody had done their shopping already.

It was jumpin at my job, til about 7. I was wondering what the heck was going on because it was so busy.

Holiday weekend so maybe a lot of people left town.

Idk, but yesterday, I tried to place an order for paper products and a couple of other things at Walmart (that stuff is cheaper than HEB), and everything I was adding was "out of stock" with a shipping option. Even dumb things that are never sold out...("We're all out of gallon-sized baggies and Tofu. Can we interest you in this Conway Twitty CD and this book about Elizabethan Poetry instead?"
😁). No way was that because of the holiday weekend. 👀

@brightlights : I know how much we mess with each other, but be careful. There's a recall on tofu.

@lynnsgirl : I think the culprits have been cleared.But whatever. YOLO! 😁 (although I'd be pretty **** off if the last thing I ate was tofu before dropping dead.)

@ginx: maybe everyone at home (like me) watching college football. And yes, pretty sure LSU moving up in the rankings after that performance against Clemson.

@MrsT : I guess that's the answer. They weren't at HEB because they were all at the mall. laugh.
