great series, and game 7 was close....

@tommie: That was a butt clenching bottom of the 9th! I couldn't believe how they flubbed what should have just been a base hit. You could tell both outfielders were nervous because it was so close, and you could tell how bad the Royals at bat wanted to be the hero.

@Littlegoo: I'm sending Gordon home on the double bobble at the wall. Gotta get that game tied up and with MadBum going, you can't rely on a base hit to get him in from third at that point. Have to do something to extend him and, potentially, get him out of the game.

That could have made things much more interesting, but I was already up past my bedtime, so I'm glad it finished the way it did!

great series - great game. they got the MVP right for sure.a lot of what-ifs - but that is baseball!Nice to see the Royals there after so many years of wishing they would just fold the franchise if they didn't care to put a competitive team on the field. Maybe they will come around - only time will tell - they surely have more post season wins than the Astros.I watched at least part of every game. Had to turn a couple of them off.
