How can any human be so callous and unfeeling 😭

With the way people drive . Nothing surprises me anymore . But still sad

The other day I was driving from Will Clayton onto the 59S feeder. I was in the left lanes, but I passed a Woman in black, pushing someone in one of those seats on wheels (kind of like a wheelchair, but it's not). They were in the far right lane and barely noticeable until I passed them. The red metal on the chair caught my attention before the people.

@eighteen : Those are called Rollators .... That's just insane!!!!

@West-Tex : This is so very sad. It's what happened to DH's grandmother in Santa Monica, California, on Ocean Park Blvd. She was leaving a Knights of Columbus Hall after dancing (she wasn't a drinker, but she could out-dance everyone I knew). As she was crossing to get to her car across the street, a drunk guy in a Jeep hit her and threw her 100 ft. Then he lost control and rammed the cars on the other side of the street. Another car passing by, was watching the jeep and didn't see her in the roadway and drug her another 105 ft. Horrible, horrible death. It's easy to see how this woman could have been run over multiple times. They need to catch the original driver. The Jeep guy in DH's grandmother's case, was incapacitated at scene, with his Jeep full of empty beer cans.

@Catmae : Yes, those things! The other person was sitting with their back to traffic and the lady was pushing them. I couldn't believe it. No light, refelection, or anything to let drivers know they were there. This had to have been close to 9pm.

@eighteen : Seriously???? Nothing reflective at all??? I was thinking you saw them during daylight hours. That really is insane.

@Catmae : I just said a little prayer for them and hoped they made it safely to their destination.

We are driving in north TX today and saw a man sitting in a walker on the side of an onramp entry. Thank goodness there was a police officer there talking to him. I am curious; did he walk up the ramp in his walker? Was he in a vehicle and they dropped him off there? There was no car parked by him.

Oh my goodness how awful!! I worry about people when I see them walking or biking on the side of the freeway. Even when cars break down on the side of the freeway it is scary to get out of your car.
