Went to Costco today, first time since they opened. Not a member yet.. went on a work errand.

I think I will switch once my Sams membership expires. Man that place is huge and so clean. (And their pizza is better)

We've been there a couple of times and really liked it. DH got some glasses there. The first prescription he got from his dr. didn't really work like he wanted, so they remade them with the new prescription and only charged a small fee to remake them... The price was very reasonable, and would still probably be cheaper if I added the price of the membership to the price of the glasses!!

I really like it. Had shrimp tonight for dinner that I picked up there and it was so good. Lobster tails and crab legs were awesome too!

That's sweet! Nice to be seen. Just busy, busy these days. Don't get much downtime to check in on y'all. @DaycareMom

Good to see the old gang is still here with lots of new ones since I last was very active here.

Does anyone hear from our old admin that went Navy Intel?

I love Costco but having one near me is costly. I go into Humble and think, I may as well stop and $200 later I am walking out thinking "what did I buy?" If you haven't been in Sams lately, they are upping their game. Much cleaner, a few different products, new bathrooms, etc.

Haven't been to the new one yet, but we've been to the old one a few times.
I cook asian dishes once in a while, so flank steak is a staple around here.
My fiancée likes it with a sriracha-lime butter sauce.

~$8.00/lb vs. $12:00+/lb at HEB.

Anyway, we should be going this week

@TXNS_fan No, you can say you just want to go see what it is about. Look around for a membership deal because I see people with coupons that are not the same as the ones I get. That is the really good thing about Costco. They have printed coupons and online coupons. If I buy the item nomally I always use the coupons. I've bought things online that were much less than anyone else with the coupon.

How much is the membership?

@TXNS_fan : Basic membership is $55. Executive membership is $110 (You get an annual check for 2% of your purchases plus some extra perks/discounts on some of their services... or so I'm told) It's all new to me...
