Is it necessary to call the news? It's a yearbook quote not the end of the world.

Have you ever heard of RESPECT?

I was not alive in 1950, but some things never change. There is no place in a High School Yearbook for deviant sexuality (or any sexuality), racial remarks, gay slurs, etc.

Common decency, dignity, self-respect, these are a few things that should have been considered when this mess of a yearbook was reviewed.

Check yourself!

Let me quests, you and the other poster are married?

How do you feel about your daughter being compared to milk? Rich, white and 2%fat.

You have issues if you are ok with that!

You yourself are making gay slurs against these students. Very insensitive to a growing/popular way of life now and days. Again, not really your place to speak.

Have you not heard yourself ? You wished someone were to deport themselves because they made a typo of MEXICO, it'd probably a joke , and then you started saying things about gays and getting a therapist, i think you have some personal issues you need to work through

How convienient these posters just signed up recently.

I've been "lurking" this thread and I must have to say, I agree with the original posts.

Yes, this is 2017...a new more modern way of thinking. More things that were once "hidden" are now in the open. Which I am ok with BUT I don't want my young daughter looking at the yearbook and thinking it's okay for these BOYS to say these things yet she's told to cover up and not wear shorts or a tank top.

And do not say well your young child shouldn't be looking at highschool yearbooks, you cannot say that when you were younger and came upon photos of your parents in school etc that you didn't look or browse through their yearbooks.

At least the student was joking when he said that. You are saying gay students shouldn't be sent to a therapist - and you're completely serious. I find that disgusting.

Seems some adults are easily offended.
Funny story along those lines. Friend of mine had some trouble with dandruff and under his picture was the name Snowman.Favorite activity generating snowstorms, most likely to cause a blizzard.Favorite food-snow cones.Back then people weren't such snowflakes, we just laughed, him included.

Exactly! It's just a yearbook quote! There are more serious issues in this community than a yearbook quote!!!!!!!!
