Senior quotes are made to express yourself as a senior . That's freedom of speech right there . And the quotes were not explicit , they were under the table humor that was the point .

@Lace So a student shouldn't be able to put their own quote? Something they think represents them? Sure there are boundaries but none were overstepped. I saw the yearbook last Friday. Nothing worth all this debate.
@#1978chick what you all fail to remember is there is going to come a Time when you enter the real world and have this thing called an employer... they aren't going to take some of this free speech lightly. Some of it may have been funny but now a days employers aren't going to take the ahh that's just Sam, he means no harm. No that employer is going to weigh his options, your statements could be a liability to the company.
@tarab
Of course they should.,with-in reason. As with everything.
Everything has guidelines..most social nedia sites, this one..fb et ..I will give you everyone will differ on where that line may be..some of those quotes crossed the line..

@tarab72 That is laughable! Ok so what employers do you know, in your short life, will hire a potential employee that may or may not say things like they don't eat breakfast but had two bowls? I'd like to know?
@yomom Ok you realize that as 18 year olds we are able to decipher when to use certain humor and when not to correct ? A yearbook is not the same as my career
@Ataslp But employers look at these things. Look at the dummies that lost scholarships or jobs over something they said via social media or yearbook sayings. You guys are in for a rude awakening.
@tarab72 The one contemplating suicide. But of course it is a joke to all your friends who made accts to post so your reply will be the same. I would like to know what the student's parents had to say.
@yomom First of all, I'm a parent. Secondly, these are SENIORS. They've busted their butts to finally get that quote. So what they all didn't quote Mother Teresa. I'm going to go out on a limb and say they're smart enough to not put HAVING 2 BOWLS as a interest on a resume.
Sweet niblets ya'll are naive..her point is..many people have been fired or not hired due to connents made..mainly on social media...but in this era..your words can never be erased...i dont envy yall tbats for sure..
