Why do the parents feel the need to talk about the senior quotes. If it's not your kid then why do you feel the need to comment? I'm sure your kids weren't the ones complaining like all of you..

@Lanie

Sounds like your not a parent if you don't know the answer to that . Ever hear it takes a village to raise a child ????

Last week there were prom shirts that said PromHub that was designed to look like the PornHub logo. The kids couldn't believe that was approved either.

@RedV

Kids do not think before they act anymore. They blame the parents/adults! Consequences down the road will cause chaos as this thread. Because the children speak and do not think of the consequences they get their defenses up to bash adults who already know better!

This is not even about senior quotes anymore. Us students are shocked that many of you parents are so close minded.

Should the Journalism Teacher in charge of this Yearbook lose his job?

4,999 views and I finally hit the last page so far!

My children both attended AHS and 1 still does! I buy the yearbook every year so my children have something to look back on and show their children down the road.
My children were raised to know for every action there is a reaction. Things done now will affect their futures and I tell them they better think before they act! I have warned them of consequences! After the typical we already know what's right and wrong spill, they were pretty understanding. I still treat my kids as if they were my babies. They will always be in the learning process as they grow older and then in return have to help others grow also( as the adults here are trying ). We all learn from our mistakes. Those whom have lived longer have learned more than any high school student responding to these comments , and we are all still learning. I was always told to respect my elders and I instill this in my children. The remarks I have seen in the comments here are just as embarrassing as the quotes from the yearbook.

My opinions on this matter are over! I PRAY that the child gets help and the student's friends find their hearts as well to help out!

@SteelerNation

I believe a new process should be established in editing before something is printed. Everyone makes mistakes. Teachers can get overwhelmed with paperwork and Yearbook would not be any exception. I do believe more adult editing should be done! If the Teacher is unavailable, get a Principal to help out or another adult for the editing process! If you look at the size of the book and the amount of time it took to get it processed and back out to deliver before Graduation, there were bound to be mistakes. I do not believe the teacher should be fired! The editing process needs to be re figured and no student have the final say! If then the book fails in the process then the blame should be placed where it need be!

@BusyMommy

I have already asked that question! Prom and Graduation both missing! My High school, when I graduated, gave out yearbooks the start of the following school year! Had everything I would want to remember! Lasting memories! And yes a few typos always noted!

The typos will always be there. Ours were the same way. With advanced technology you would think the process would have improved, not gotten worse.

All of you are hilarious. Such angry snowflakes. I guarantee your kids said and did worse things over prom weekend. Degrading quotes should be removed, I agree. A page where lgbt kids talk about coming out? I see no problem. It's because of people like steelernation that some lgbt people are scared to say anything. If that page helps even 1 kid be courageous enough to not give a rats *** what your opinion on them is, then that's a win. Prayer is allowed in school at appropriate times. As are bibles. Not once have we ever been told we couldn't pray or carry a bible. It's quite funny to see that most high school kids are far more tolerant and mature than some of their parents.
