UPS "Follow my Delivery" Nice feature... I don't know how I got it, maybe it's because I have an account with UPS? But the driver who's bringing my package has been parked at the back of ES for like 25 minutes... I mean, the truck hasn't moved according to the map. WTF? Smoke break?

@sandman : He probably gets paid by the hour. Let the man make his money.
He was 2 blocks from my house... 2 blocks! Now he is on the very back of ES by Timber Forest. The thing I don't understand is that UPS delivered 2 boxes this morning... and this item arrived at 3 am.
Tracking systems: USPS. What package...
FedEx: You will get it when we get there
UPS: Your drivers name is Phil and he will be there at 3:15
Amazon: I'm in your living room All seriousness aside, I tracked a package on FedEx . It left Georgia on Friday afternoon and arrived in Houston on Sunday. 900 miles 1.5 days. On Monday it went to Missouri City. On Thursday it was out for delivery. 40 miles 4 days.
Everything was fine before the interweb , now it like it doesn't take that long to get here from there.

The guy drove around all over ES... got home 5 minutes after my DW arrived from work. So, of course, she asks what's in the box... damn UPS driver!
@sandman : LOL no sometimes they pull over to re-organize the truck. Put the packages in sequential order from the streets they are about to start delivering to.
@TheBoz : They do get paid by the hour, and since they are union anything over eight hours a day is time and a half.
@ginx : Mmmmm did you say Panera?? I could go for some Panera!

@Vodkatini : A gift from me to myself.
@ginx : Then the text you get when your Panera has arrived along with the name and the picture of your driver. I'm always like, "Hey, it really is you, Alejandro!" when I open the door. 😀
I ordered something and the company I ordered from required me to sign for it. It would be sent overnight. I checked the tracking and it said I would receive it by 3:00 pm. I was home all day (I work from home). I checked the tracking again and it changed that delivery was attempted at 2:00 pm but no one was home. I called 3 places including the local access point and even did the chat online. The company who sent the package stated they could not have it go to an access point. I ended up picking it up the NEXT day at the access point. I was not happy with the situation, especially since I was home and no one actually came to the house.
@tori6749 : When I have to sign, I usually ask for the package to be held at Walgreens. So, as soon as I get the tracking number I go to the carrier's website to set that up (I've done it with Fedex, not UPS and USPS).
@tori6749 : Yesterday, I had two packages coming from Amazon. I was sitting in my office not 10 feet away. They didn't ring the doorbell and ring.com didn't ding me but I received a text it was delivered. I was thinking it was out at the mailbox since no one rang but nope. It was right on my porch where anyone could see it. They had to be really fast not to set off ring. At least, I was home.
It is a joke! I have had stuffed delivered and 2 hours later I get the text!
