KathyMarshall : The funds are held and sent out from the Comptroller office. The state is the only one getting your info, no one else.
This is the Texas Comp. site so I would trust it. Just finished going through it and well I struck out but I did find $278. owed my brother....

TortieMama : it's supposed to be cashback not an Apple gift card. Be careful with that. If you have unclaimed cash, they usually send you a check. My friend did the government one and she had about $200 and they sent her the check.
