I thought Beta was over in NW Houston area. Anyone else hearing this?Stay safe ADC Peeps!

The center of what's left of Beta is right on the coast down from Freeport slowly moving right up the coast. Right now we are getting a heavy rain band moving over us. Looks like it should be out of here tomorrow afternoon.

@Smokeybear : good!! I am thankful for the rain, but H-Town needs to dry out a little.

@West-Tex : it has chance to be rough.

@Smokeybear : I heard the pass had little rain in the last 12 hours. It's annexed as Freeport.

@ladybeachbum : keep us posted on what you find when you head south. 💕

@TexanFan1 : I am guessing I am not going today. My key employee hurt her back so need to stay here until 4 pm.. I have a friend going to her community about a mile away and she says they had 4 feet under her home. She will let me know if I can get in. Another friends Dad is maybe going and he will do a video she says. I just want to GO!

@ladybeachbum : I can't imagine the waiting!! That's the most difficult part, not knowing. Hugs!!

@TexanFan1 : History tells me I'm not going to be happy but if the house is standing, it's a good thing I think. I think so many people have issues on their own so don't have time to report. We always have damage but most do not so they send info. People are calling us and we know nothing. If the friend gets through and sees I can, I will be headed. Not knowing if the house is livable for me to stay makes me need the daylight. Just talking about it is making me NEED to go!
