After 15 years sleeping soundly with a security system and armed, we were awaken at 1:30 with our alarm going.
We secured the downstairs but it showed that the upstairs window was also breached....thus the Constables were dispatched and secured the upstairs and outside premise. After much reassurance from them and my DH, I resort to the fact that it was a false alarm. (still not too convinced, but all logic tells me otherwise)The officers dispatched were absolutely wonderful. Very reassuring and so courteous. During my duress I failed to get their names...but I do want to thank them. I have the upmost respect for these men/women who do come in the middle of night to protect Moomaw's...even if it was just a false alarm.Thank you!
