HOUSTON -
Get ready for a chilly week ahead. Temperatures will be cool all week and the drizzle will remain. Temperatures begin in the upper 40s to low 50s Monday. The high is expected to reach 60 degrees.

Meteorologist Britta Merwin says the first half of the week looks cold and damp but the sun will make a welcome return Wednesday after a week-long absence.

Thank you Jesus for cool weather & rain . After the drought conditions we have had the last few years & loss of so many trees I'mm happy to see the rain . And I think the rain slows us down enough to stop & breathe .

I enjoy it being cooler! I'll take 55-60 for awhile but get rid of the rain.. I need sun!

I only like this weather in the evenings. When I can curl up under the blanket, watch Texans on DVR, eat freshly baked brownies with a cup of cold milk.
