redneckroy : Im seeing more and more of them around Houston. I had to go and find my old law books to see if the wheel extensions law had been dropped. Someone at the airport has had some for over a year, so they must not be too high on the enforcement scale..
@Smokeybear : I learned of the 8 inch rule when I put roof racks of for the canoes. I would be surprised if it has been changed, but probably more of a justification for stopping people than a cause. I think most of these are right at the legal limit - but this one looks to have blown it away. It will only take one tall curb to remove them anyway.
