Suspect Arrested for Aggravated Assault and Child Injury IncidentCONSTABLES ARREST SUSPECT FOR AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON AND INJURY TO A CHILDOn March 12, 2024, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 2300 block of Atascocita Road in reference to a weapons disturbance, where multiple juveniles were physically fighting at the location. Upon deputies arriving, investigation revealed that suspect, Jara Polk, physically assaulted a 14 year old juvenile then pulled out a knife during a verbal altercation. "Jara Polk was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Aggravated Assault and Injury to a Child. Her total bond was set at $15,000.00 out of the 262nd District Court." - Constable Mark Herman
