He recommended sterilizing everything at home that we touched to prevent any more spreading of it. But to be prepared for the rest of the family to get it. Husband did, kids are both ok so far still! Have plenty of gatorade for dehydration.(he said it is their saline bags just with flavor)

@CE3673 :

Clorox will kill ANYTHING ! I clean everything I possibly can with it & I also use hydrogen peroxide in the spray bottle .

Probiotics can be a great way to get the good stomach bugs up to speed - you can find it at any grocery store or pharmacy. We keep it around. I hope you feel better soon!

@CE3673
Bless your hearts and any others getting this. Hope you feel better soon

@bbk had some good tips on electrolytes and @cabinmama on probiotics

To get more comfortable w the big D is always a challenge, particularly for children. I used a squirt bottle of warm water to clean their bums when mine ever had that (works for grown ups too); ginger ale seems to settle tummies, saline crackers, clear liquid such as chicken broth.

Hugs and prayers.

@TheCatsMeow I have sprayer hoses that I ordered about 7 or so years ago on 2 of our toilets that we both love . Turn on your kitchen faucet full blast & at least that much water comes out of these . They hook up to the water at your toilet & are really really fantastic . I use it every time I go pottie . Bought it for our kids & grand kids .

I have 2 catalogs that has them in there .(( Support Plus )) & the other company is (( Full of Life )) & their called Bidet sprayer . I have also seen some of these at Walgreen's & they look like what I have . You install them yourself . I paid $35.00 . My catalogs are old but I believe I have seen them still for about that same price . Anyone that has a stomach bug would love this sprayer .
