While it will still be fairly humid at sunrise Friday, Friday afternoon brings a nice break in the humidity, perfect for Friday Night Lights.The easterly wind will blow drier air into Southeast Texas as the day progresses, and we'll have a dry heat for the afternoon. High temperatures will peak in the mid 90s with very low humidity. Houston should enjoy a mostly sunny sky, but there will still be enough moisture along the immediate coastline to produce some isolated showers.What should we expect for the weekend?The dry air that blows in Friday will linger into Saturday, giving us a pleasant morning with lows in the low 70s. In fact, temperatures readings Saturday morning could be our lowest since early June! It will still be a hot afternoon under a mostly sunny sky with highs in the mid 90s. Similar weather is expected for Sunday, it will just be a few degrees warmer in the morning and the afternoon.Are you seeing any signs of a fall front coming this way?Aside from our brief humidity break Friday afternoon and Friday night, the best we can probably muster up is a weak front before the end of September. One such front looks to impact us in the second half of next week with another humidity drop coming in behind it.
